Sundial Pedestal Bases
A sundial without a pedestal is like a wind chime without a breeze.
In fact, our dealers sell close to half of their sundials with a base.
Rome offers a comprehensive selection of attractive and
affordable pedestal base solutions made from a wide variety of materials including - wrought iron, cast iron & resin..
Each pedestal base is designed to fit all of our horizontal sundials, so it's just a matter of matching the base you feel will look
best with your sundial. Nautrally, the smaller diameter dials
will look better on tapered neck or smaller stands and the
larger dials will complement the bigger stands.
Many of our customers find our wrought iron pedestal sets to be a convenient way to buy bases for 3 or 4 dials. The sets contain thematically matching bases in different sizes for matching to a wide variety of dials. They also nest together in the box so it cuts down on shipping cost & keeps the wholesale price low.
Note that some of our Armillary Dials are designed for our cast iron pedestals, while others are designed to be placed on the ground or a stone column. They are not designed for our wrought iron/steel stands.
